Desiree Campbell, a seasoned Executive Function Coach, specializes in assisting both parents and children with the development of effective strategies to manage their daily activities. Her expertise particularly shines in working with students who have emotional disturbances, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and ASD. Beginning her distinguished career with the New York City Department of Education, Desiree is a state-certified school psychologist in New York. She also contributes her skills as a middle school psychologist and coordinator of Academic Services at the local independent school in NYC. She offers individual and group counseling, leads school support team meetings and analyzes neuropsychological reports. This analysis is crucial for her role in presenting cases to the school's learning disabilities committee for review and guiding parents towards helpful interventions. Her ability to infuse empathy into her work not only make her strategizes more effective, but her clients more engaged.
Dr. Ben Lovett
Dr. Ben Lovett is a licensed psychologist and a Professor of Psychology and Education at Columbia University's Teachers College. At Mind Matters Manhattan, he conducts diagnostic evaluations for students referred for learning and attention problems, and he also conducts evidence-based psychotherapy for test anxiety.
Dr. Lovett consults with schools on disability and assessment issues, and at Teachers College, he teaches classes on psychological testing and legal/ethical issues in school psychology. He has over 100 publications on these and related topics, including a recent book, Overcoming Test Anxiety.
